How should I take mesna?

Mesna is an injectable medication. It can also be taken in an oral form. It is usually given at a doctor's office or hospita; or you may be able to self-administer it at home, in which case, follow your doctor's instructions exactly. Drink at least one quart of water per day while on this medication.
