Does Chemet interact with other medications or food?

There are no known negative interactions between Chemet and other medications. However, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any other chelating medications, such as calcium EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), before using the medication. Chemet has no known interactions with food, although possible side effects of the medication include nausea, vomiting and lack of appetite.
