Does a pica eating disorder cause tooth erosion?

In addition to bulimia, another eating disorder called pica can cause tooth erosion. Pica is a craving for non-food substances over a period of at least a month. Some of the substances craved include coal, plaster, pencils, fingernails and erasers.
