How can I tell that I have tooth erosion?

You can tell that you have some erosion if your teeth become more sensitive to sweet, hot or cold food and drinks. Once enamel is removed exposing the underlying dentine the teeth will become extremely sensitive.

There are several symptoms that may indicate tooth erosion. Tooth erosion symptoms include sensitive teeth or tooth pain, teeth with rough or cracked edges and yellow teeth. A healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, and good oral hygiene can help you avoid tooth erosion.
