Should I be worried about my ageusia?

If you have ageusia, your sensory system is impaired so that you lose the ability to taste. Ageusia isn't life-threatening, but sometimes people with this condition don't eat enough, or eat too much, which could lead to serious health problems. Additionally, ageusia can sometimes come with a more serious illness, such as multiple sclerosis. It's important to talk to your doctor if you think you may have ageusia.
