What are colloid thyroid nodules?

Thyroid nodules are small bumps that form on your thyroid gland. Colloid nodules are benign, and you may not even realize if you have them, although in some cases you can feel nodules through your neck. Nodules may contain some liquid or solid cells. Colloid nodules may contain thyroid hormone.
