How can a child use social networks to cyberbully another child?

Shawn Edgington
Pediatrics
Many cyberbullies are using social networks such as MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube. They build a profile and share whatever they want to share with their friends. They post pictures and videos, gossip, spread rumors, exclude those they want to target, create quizzes and polls, and use anonymous networks (such as Formspring) to attack their victims. In some cases, they impersonate their victims and take over their accounts, using them to post horrific information. Then they will report them to their school, parents, or to the police for being a cyberbully.
