How should my child apologize for cyberbullying?

If your child is a cyberbully (a minor who uses technology as a weapon to intentionally threaten or hurt another minor), you will need him or her to take responsibility for their actions by:
  • Requiring that your child apologize in person to the child he or she has bullied.
  • Requiring that your child write an apology letter to both the child and his or her parents.
  • If your child has gotten into trouble with his or her teacher or the school administration as a result of being a bully, he or she needs to apologize to them, also.
