What are the benefits of prehabilitation?

Prehabilitation may be of benefit to people with poor physical fitness by improving postoperative recovery and post-discharge functional survival. Prehabilitation has the potential to reduce the risk and potentially avoid postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD).
