Aside from preventing sunburn, using sunscreen can prevent skin cancer, especially melanoma. Protecting your skin from the sun will also prevent skin barrier disruption and dry skin, pigmented lesions (eg, melasma), and will keep you looking young by helping to prevent wrinkles and uneven skin tone.
