If you're interested in natural recovery from addiction, realize that this approach is more difficult if the addiction is severe or if other psychological disorders are present. Those who have severe addiction, depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues might have a better chance at success if they enlist the help of health professionals. In addition, people who are addicted to anti-anxiety medications or tranquilizers should never attempt to quit on their own, as withdrawal symptoms can be very serious and sometimes fatal.
