If you are attempting nicotine addiction recovery, create a plan that will help you to succeed. Don't pick a stop-date during a high-stress time of your life. Gather the support of family members, friends, or others who are quitting, identify your triggers, create smoke-free areas in your life, eat nutritious meals, exercise, practice relaxation techniques, and stop drinking alcohol, since many people associate alcohol with smoking. Finally, reward yourself with little perks for the goals you reach.
