What does time is brain mean?

"Time is brain" is a saying used to emphasize that the longer you wait to treat a stroke the more damage is done.  As time progresses so does the stroke, and irreversible damage is done. This is why it is important to get immediate medical care as soon as the first symptoms of stroke occur.
