Can children get stage 4 basal cell carcinoma?

Basal cell carcinoma at any stage, including stage 4, is pretty rare in children. In general, older people are affected by basal cell carcinoma much more often than those who are younger - in fact, about 80% of cases of the disease affect people over age 50. It may be possible for younger adults to develop stage 4 basal cell carcinoma, but it usually doesn't affect children.
