What are the symptoms of basaloid squamous cell carcinoma?

Symptoms of basaloid squamous cell carcinoma vary depending on the location of the tumor. Although basaloid squamous cell carcinoma causes tumors, this isn't usually a symptom that people notice directly because it usually forms in areas that aren't visible. If it occurs anywhere in the throat, mouth, or nasal areas, symptoms may include hoarseness, difficulty swallowing, cough, and weight loss. In some cases, basaloid squamous cell carcinoma may cause a mass to form in the neck, and people may cough up blood.
