Are there rules regarding outside temperature and sports for children?

When the temperature is high (generally above 90 degrees) and humidity is high (generally above 50%) it is recommended that children wear light clothing that wicks away sweat. Practice lengths should be reduced and practices and game should occur early morning or evenings when temperatures are less extreme. Always make sure your youth athletes are well hydrated.
