How can I reduce the pain from spinal disc extrusion?

If you have a spinal disc extrusion and are experiencing the feeling of bone-on-bone popping, grinding and associated pain, improving your fitness may help ease that discomfort. Core strengthening exercises are very good, as is physical therapy. Injections can help reduce pain from disc extrusion as well. Sometimes injections can be helpful to reduce your pain from disc extrusion, but really there’s not a lot that can be done to help with the associated popping and grinding. That continues, because it's bone-on-bone, unless we push towards a surgery.
