Do partial spinal cord injuries affect children differently than adults?

Both children and adults are affected by partial spinal cord injuries in the same way. Damage to the spinal cord cannot be reversed, no matter the age of the patient. Children are less likely to suffer spinal cord injuries than adults, though. The average age at which a spinal cord injury occurs is 40 years old.
