Is there a cure for partial spinal cord injuries?

If there is damage to the spinal cord, it cannot be reversed. However, many partial spinal cord injuries can be cured. If the spinal cord is injured in a way that there is no tearing, as in cases where it is bruised or compressed, there is a good chance that the injury can be treated effectively and full sensation and movement regained. The spinal cord is delicate, however, and even partial spinal cord injuries can result in life-long repercussions.
