What are the health benefits of a living food diet?

In a study published in the journal, Toxicology, researchers sought to see if a living food (LF) diet could help ease the swelling and pain of those with rheumatoid arthritis. Living food is an uncooked vegan diet, consisting of fruits, vegetables and roots, berries, nuts, germinated seeds and sprouts, which has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect in the body. They also reported less pain and swelling, and increased mobility. When fibromyalgia patients went on the LF diet, they reported a decrease joint stiffness and pain, as well as an improvement of their self-experienced health.
