Can deep somatic pain be prevented?

Deep somatic pain is often associated with an injury or illness. With this in mind, to prevent pain, you must remain healthy and prevent both illness and injury. Although both can be controlled to some extent, deep somatic pain will most likely be experienced in life. Deep somatic pain can actually be a good thing when it tells us something is wrong with our body.
