Can snoring be measured during a sleep study?

Generally, sleep studies performed at a sleep laboratory (as opposed to home sleep studies) will record a decibel level to measure how loud snoring is during the night.
 
A doctor can find out if you only have simple snoring, or if your snoring is a sign of OSA. To do this, you will need to take an overnight sleep study. This study is called a polysomnogram.Hope this helps!
