Here are some strategies to make sure you make time for sleep:

  • Stick to regular bed times during the week
  • Get up early and at the same time each day
  • Don't skip breakfast
  • Eat at least 2 of your meals each day at the kitchen or dining table
  • Choose only one important volunteer activity
  • Divide household chores among the family
  • Use carpools to help ferry kids
  • Prepare several dinner entrees each Monday, so you're ready all week
  • Limit caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine
  • Talk to one friend for at least 15 minutes every day
