Dandruff is the most recognizable symptom. Other symptoms might include itching, soreness, red or oily skin, flaky skin, or thick crusts along the scalp. People with seborrheic dermatitis have also reported a burning sensation on the face. The condition can appear on your eyebrows, eyelids, nose, ears, underarms or groin.
