What medications treat sinusitis?

Treatment for viral sinusitis, or sinus infection, is supportive, meaning using things like anti-inflammatory medications, antihistamines and rinses. Most sinus infections are due to viruses.  Infections that are determined to be caused by bacteria are treated with antibiotics.
