What are the symptoms of siderosis?

Siderosis doesn't usually have symptoms. It is called a "benign pneumoconiosis," meaning that it is a lung disease caused by breathing in dust particles that doesn't cause many problems. Siderosis may only be diagnosed when someone comes in for an X-ray because of the symptoms from another disease. There is some controversy about whether siderosis truly does not produce symptoms, but it is often difficult to tell whether such symptoms are produced by siderosis or the effects of a related disease like silicosis.
