Does siderosis affect children differently than adults?

Children are unlikely to have siderosis, since it is an occupational disease related to breathing in iron or iron oxide dust. However, children can develop other types of environmental lung diseases. For example, children who breathe in a lot of air pollution from nearby traffic are at risk for asthma and respiratory infections.
