There are usually no symptoms for siderosis, so no medications are given for this condition. Medications like corticosteroids and drugs to open airways may be given for respiratory conditions that often accompany siderosis, such as silicosis. People with silicosis, which is caused by breathing in silica or silicate dust, may develop difficulty with breathing over time.
