Can I shave my legs daily?

Dr. Mehmet Oz, MD

It's OK to shave your legs every day, but if daily shaving causes skin irritation (such as razor burn or ingrown hairs) you should shave every few days to give your skin time to heal.

There is no reason you cannot shave your legs daily. Shaving will not make the hair grow back thicker and will keep your legs smooth and soft. If you are going to shave daily, I suggest you use a shaving cream. These products soften the hairs and minimize trauma to the hair follicle while shaving. I would also suggest you change your razor frequently, perhaps every 2-3 days and apply a moisturizer after shaving.
