Question

Orgasm

Is it possible to have multiple orgasms?

A Answers (2)

  • It is possible for some people, especially women, to have multiple orgasms within a short period of time. In most cases, after a person experiences an orgasm they must take a break in which they stop sexual activity and return to a "neutral" level of sexual arousal before they can experience another orgasm. However, some people are able to have another orgasm before their arousal level decreases. The ability to have multiple orgasms depends on many factors, including physical stimulation and emotional interest. Obviously, these factors can vary depending on the specific encounter, so even if a woman is able to have multiple orgasms, she might not have multiple orgasms every time she has sex. In rare cases, men may be able to have multiple orgasms, though it's far more common among women.

Yes. In order to have multiple orgasms, women need a lot of sexual tension, which can only be built up over an extended period of time. The reason for this massive sexual tension is that there has to be some left over after the orgasm. Sexual tension accumulates over time -- so have a couple hours’ worth of a sexy date, where your partner is physically affectionate; looks at you with loving, desirous eyes; and says things that make you feel good about your body, your partner’s body, and sex in general.
