What is Diprivan?

Diprivan, a general anesthetic, is a brand-name drug containing the active ingredient propofol. It is a prescription general anesthesia given via injection during certain surgeries or procedures. How this medication works has not been determined. The dosage will be adjusted per person, based on age, weight, gender and other factors.
