Who should not take butabarbital sodium tablets?

There are a number of different things that would preclude you from taking butabarbital sodium tablets. You should not take butabarbital sodium tablets if you are allergic to any of the ingredients found in butabarbital, if you are elderly or have porphyria (a blood disease), or if you currently take GHB (sodium oxybate). Speak to your doctor if you have any questions about whether butabarbital sodium tablets are right for you.
