Are there alternative treatments for structural scoliosis?

Some people do try alternative treatments for structural scoliosis, such as chiropractors, nutritional supplements, or physical therapy. However, research shows that these methods do not work to cure or prevent structural scoliosis. Though exercise has not been proven to affect change on structural scoliosis, people with scoliosis should still exercise and participate in sports. Exercise and sports are beneficial to general well-being, and participating in sports can help the self-esteem of a teenager with scoliosis.
