Children with scoliosis not only can but should exercise and participate in physical activity. Exercise is good for both physical and mental health. About the only thing that may affect possible activities is if your child has had scoliosis surgery and has rods in their back. In this case, there may be some restrictions and you should talk to your child's orthopedic surgeon.
