What are some simple self-defense tips to help me protect myself?

My top simple self-defense tips are

1) Be aware of your surroundings.

2) Don't listen to loud music while out walking.

3) If the situation feels wrong, it is wrong. 

4) Be willing to fight back immediately if attacked.

5) Aim for your attacker’s nose, knees, instep, shin and eyes. 

6) Try to immobilize your attacker

7) Strike hard and fast.

8) Always hold your keys as a weapon when walking.

9) Practice self-defense techniques so you will be prepared.

10)  Build body strength.
