There are several subtypes of rosacea with varying symptoms, but one of the most common symptoms is frequent and persistent redness, or flushing, in the face. Your skin may also show tiny visible blood vessels just beneath the surface. Skin may develop a rough appearance and become dry. More advanced cases of rosacea may result in the formation of red, acne-like bumps.
