How do I manage rosacea on a daily basis?

Dr. Jeanne Morrison, PhD
Family Practitioner
Managing your rosacea starts with getting the right treatment and sticking to it. It's also important to identify triggers that make your rosacea worse. These often include alcohol and caffeinated beverages and if you want to manage your symptoms you may have to give them up. During the course of dealing with your rosacea, make sure you communicate with your doctor on a regular basis. Let your doctor know if your treatment doesn't seem to be working or if you experience any side effects. It's also a good idea to take better care of your skin by using a milder soap and a good moisturizer. The healthier your skin is, the less severe your rosacea symptoms will be.
