Although it is rare, rosacea can develop in children. In fact, it often goes undiagnosed in children because it produces symptoms similar to other childhood conditions like acne. Unfortunately, this can lead to severe problems especially if your child develops ocular rosacea. If you think your child might have rosacea don't hesitate to make an appointment with your doctor. Diagnosing the disorder early could help prevent eye problems as well as serious infections.
