Some side effects of Renova (tretinoin) 0.02% include peeling, redness or irritation, and itching of the skin.

You may also experience burning after using Renova 0.02%.

In some cases patients have reported worsening of their skin spots or even new ones.

You may experience ultraviolet (UV) sensitivity and may sunburn unless precautions for UV light, such as sunscreen, are taken.
