What is Retin-A-Micro?

Retin-A-Micro (tretinoin) 0.04% and 0.1% is a prescription gel used topically to treat acne (acne vulgaris). While Retin-A- Micro is on your skin, it penetrates pores to break up acne plugs. Then it pushes dead cells to the surface, where they can be washed away. It also keeps skin cells from sticking together, preventing future acne outbreaks. Retin-A-Micro is used once a day, with the gel applied to affected areas after they are thoroughly cleaned.
