Can eosinophilic pneumonia be prevented?

Eosinophilic pneumonia cannot be prevented, mostly because the causes of the condition are only partially understood. However, there are some factors that have been linked to the condition and avoiding them can decrease a person's chances of developing eosinophilic pneumonia. These causes are reactions to certain drugs, a fungal or parasitic infection, or inhaling some types of chemical fumes.
