What is Daliresp?

Daliresp (roflumilast) is prescribed to lessen the frequency of breathing problems in people with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and prevent worsening of symptoms such as breathlessness, cough, chest tightness and excess mucus.

Daliresp is one of a new class of drugs that blocks the activity of phosphodiesterase type 4 (PDE4), an enzyme that causes swelling in the lungs, limiting airflow.
