Are there any side effects of dimenhydrinate?

Always report allergic reactions to your doctor immediately. Other possible side effects from Dimenhydrinate that you should talk to your doctor about may include vision changes, fatigue, lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, difficulty with urination, convulsions or seizures, chest pain, jaundice, mood changes like nervousness or agitation, confusion, tremors, and ringing in the ears. Bothersome, but less serious side effects that would require medical attention if severe, include headache, vomiting or upset stomach, thickening mucus, dizziness, constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, or loss of appetite. If these symptoms persist or worsen or if you notice any other unusual symptoms, call your doctor.
