How is desloratadine (Clarinex) formulated?

The prescription antihistamine desloratadine (Clarinex) comes in different forms: 10 mg. tablet, 10 mg./teaspoonful oral liquid, and a 10 mg. orally disintegrating tablet (called Clarinex Reditabs). It also comes in a combination form with the decongestant pseudoephedrine, known as Clarinex-D. Desloratadine (Clarinex) tablets or liquid should be stored at room temperature (about 77 degrees F).
