Pulmonary fibrosis is a serious disease. Not only can its symptoms interfere with your life, but a cure for the disease has not yet been discovered. Once someone is diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, he or she is expected to live for three to five more years. Treatment and lifestyle changes can help improve your quality of life during those years.
