Who should not take Xtandi?

You should not take Xtandi (enzalutamide), a prescription medication used to treat metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, if your prostate cancer isn't that advanced, or if you haven't already taken docetaxel. Only men should take Xtandi.

Because Xtandi can be harmful to a developing fetus, you should not take Xtandi if you have unprotected sex with pregnant women or women who can become pregnant. You should use a condom and another form of birth control when having sex with a woman who can become pregnant.
