What is the least invasive treatment for prostate cancer?

The external beam radiation therapies, including proton therapy, are the least invasive treatments that we have for prostate cancer. With brachytherapy there is some manipulation of the prostate -- we pass needles with radioactive seeds into the prostate and unload them there. Surgery obviously speaks for itself -- it’s fairly invasive.
