Who should not take Megace?

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take Megace (megestrol). If you have a history of stroke, adrenal gland problems, blood clots, diabetes or kidney or liver disease, you should inform your doctor before having Megace prescribed for you. Megace poses a risk to you if you are allergic to it.
