What is Plan B used for?

Plan B is a medication that is used as an emergency contraceptive when unprotected intercourse occurs. Plan B should not be used as a routine form of contraceptive, but only in emergent situations. This medication will not protect you from any sectually transmitted infections, or end an existing pregnancy.
