Who should not take megestrol acetate oral suspension?

You should never use megestrol acetate oral suspension if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. This could cause birth defects or illness for newborns. If you have undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, stroke, or a blood clotting condition, you should also not use this medication. Do not take this medication while using dofetilide. If you are allergic to megestrol acetate oral suspension, do not take it.
